OBF is a unique app that caters to the needs of Senior Citizens, by providing them access to a variety of services and tools which can either be used by them directly, or accessed by their family members on their behalf, thus making technology more accessible for them. We aim to make “going online” simple and seamless for the elderly and allow their family members to pitch in and help them with these transactions. The app will provide services under various verticals such as, Health, Travel, OnDemand Services, Hyperlocal Shopping, Pilgrimage, Elderly specific events etc. We believe that by enabling the senior citizens to try out a variety of services from the comfort of a single app, with guidance from their families we are creating an ecosystem that helps the elderly do more online. The app is a vision of our founder, who has always wanted do something to address social problems and being away from his family understood the issues and challenges faced by his parents alone in India and started to explore ways to make their lives better and be more connected. This intent led a series of conversations and culminated in the creation of this ecosystem with partners like Zoylo, Uber, Rocket in Pocket, Helpage India and many more.
